Randi Tveitaraas Jack manages the Department’s International Business Recruitment Program and also serves as the assistant director of the International Trade Development Division. In her 19 years with the state, she has worked with companies in Europe, Asia and Canada and coordinated closely with the state's overseas offices on international marketing efforts. Successful site location projects include Viega (Germany), IdentiGEN (Ireland), Gunze (Japan), Matcor (Canada), Airbus (UK) and Sonaca NMF (Belgium).

Prior to joining the Agency in 1988, Randi worked in international marketing at Storage Technology Corporation, a computer peripherals manufacturer based in Colorado. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Colorado State University and a Master of International Business Administration from Thunderbird – The Garvin School of International Management. She is a graduate of the Economic Development Institute at the University of Oklahoma and has also studied at the University of Madrid in Spain.

Robert is responsible for foreign investment projects in Kansas and is also the manager of the Kansas International Trade Office in Mexico City. He has 12 years of experience in economic development, having worked for the New Mexico Department of Economic Development prior to joining the Kansas Department of Commerce in 2004. He has also worked for the Foreign Agricultural Service in Washington, D.C.

Robert has successfully coordinated site location projects with international companies such as Schlund AG (Germany), 1&1 Internet (Germany) and American Ingredients (The Netherlands). He holds a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics and international marketing from Oklahoma State University.

The Kansas Europe Office, located outside of London, provides assistance to European companies interested in learning about the benefits of locating in Kansas. David has worked for the Kansas Europe Office since 1998. He has senior management experience with multi-national companies in the security, materials-handling and interactive multimedia industries. His expertise in these industries is complemented by extensive business development involvement in aerospace, commercial refrigeration and other industrial sectors.

Established in 1985, the Kansas Japan Office provides specialized assistance to Japanese companies evaluating sites for their U.S. operations. Our bilingual staff has extensive knowledge of Kansas and the benefits realized by the Japanese companies that have already established manufacturing facilities and administrative offices in the state. Ted is a graduate of Rissho University (Tokyo) and Wichita State University (Kansas). He has represented the state in Japan for 15 years.
